WordCamp Cape Town Waiting List

WordCamp CT official T-shirt logoAre you still trying to get into WordCamp Cape Town 2011?

The response and interest in this year’s WordCamp has been amazing, with the allotted seats selling out long before the event. This high demand shows that the South African WordPress community is thriving and continuing to grow.

We realize that it must be a massive let down for those of you eager to get in on the action, but unfortunately we cannot allocate any more seats due to budget and venue restrictions.

Waiting List

As the event is fully booked,  its doubtful that any new places will become available. We have however set up a waiting list to deal with the excess demand. If any places become available they will be allocated to those on the Waiting list on a first come first served basis.

To get on the Waiting List, please complete the WordCamp contact form. Please note that Ashley Shaw is very busy with work and organising the event and will respond within 48 hours with a confirmation email.

Coverage of the event

We will have two bloggers live Tweeting from both the Publishing and Tech/Development Tracks on the day. This means that those unable to attend can follow the action as it happens from our two Twitter streams: @feedmymedia (Publisher Track) and @wordcampct (Tech/Development Track). The Twitter hashtag for the event is #WCCT.

Video Coverage

There will be videographers recording the Sessions at WordCamp. All session videos will be posted on the WordCamp site afterwards.

With these channels and the help from our media coverage, we hope to make WordCamp Cape Town as accessible as possible, even for those who cannot attend.
